(More customer reviews)I bought this clock to go on the mantel above my fireplace. I wanted a clock that was different, decently priced, and that we could see from the couch.
The price is right on this piece and you get what you pay for.
The item came packaged very securely but the base was slightly bent. The piece does bends easily to any position you want it to (not that I think it is suppose to though) so I was able to fix that, most of the clock is a thin metal. It feels like a cheaper item but does not have that cheap look to it so I like that. The clock was easy to set.
The problem is that with the shiny silver back it is VERY difficult to see the arms from a distance. I tried it in several positions around the room to see if maybe it was a glare from the window but it wasn't. Its a shame as I really loved the way it looked on the mantel but need something with function there.
Overall I love the look of this clock but it did not serve its purpose on the mantel so it was replaced and moved to the dining-room where it is seen more easily.
I would recommend this to anyone that wants it to be seen in a place that is relatively close to you.
