(More customer reviews)I wanted to get my kiddo a picnic table for our backyard so he'd have a place to eat and play. I wanted a wooden one because all the plastic ones seemed cheap and not aesthetically pleasing.
This took about an hour to put together. Lots of small screws and bolts and some hammering. My husband is an engineer so I know he wasn't having technical difficulties - I find it hard to believe that this would take 5 minutes to put together.
One of the bolts for connection between a leg and the bench seems really short - it's popped out a couple of times, we'll need to find a new screw and bolt to hold this together. This is a concern for safety. I'm not amused. Once it's fixed, it's fine.
Other than that - this is great for parties or the occasional use. We did get a lot of complements on it. This wood can be stained/painted. It is very lightweight and can comfortably fit 3 - 4 toddlers (my son is 21 months).
