(More customer reviews)After exploring a plethora of ready-built ($800-$1600) tables and a variety of kits ($70 - $500), I took a chance and ordered this poorly-described picnic table "kit" from Amazon based on its photo and its hefty shipping charge: I figured it had to be heavy.
Folks, this is one truly beefy set of precisely-formed, galvanized steel picnic table legs. Add four not-included 2" x 10" x 7' pressure-treated boards for the top and two 2" x 12" x 7' boards for the seats and marvel at what less than $500 can accomplish. "Built for eternity" is not much of an exaggeration...go ahead and let your kids dance on it!
This is intended to be a glowing review, but one word of caution...this is a set of legs, not a "kit". The person(s) putting the actual picnic table together will need the following tools: pencil, tape measure, builder's square or t-square, circular saw, electric drill, drill bits, electric sander, sand paper, and a 1/2" deep-socket wrench. She/he/they will also either need carpentry experience or to spend some time with Google...because...the legs do not come with assembly instructions.
This said, you can look far and wide and not find a better made, more rugged, or (ultimately) more affordable set of picnic table legs. This is an awesome product. Bravo!
